It is almost 3.5 years to have this laptop. I really feel lucky because it is still far better than HP laptop comes with core i3. I have made it to run in power saver mode to avoid over heating issue and it operates fine even in this mode. I am using 7 ultimate 64 bit, and the system rating is 3.2.

@Abhay, 15K for MB replacement? I’d suggest you throw this one in trash and get an Acer or Dell. You will get a more than decent laptop and better one for 25-28K.

Same problem, my laptop GPU blew up, i used it sparingly so it lasted 3yrs. Its got a known problem with the NVIDIA graphic card.
The problem is common for V3000and V6000 series.
So it won’t last long and now HP authorised Serv. center tells me its gonna replace the whole motherboard and gonna cost 15K INR.

dont ever buy this ,,the graphics chip is wrongly placed near to heat sink,eventualy this chip wil fail leadin to no display ..nw i regret tat u bght this one

Recently migrated to windows7 . Its running far better then what it was windows vista.. Vista is a crap OS which microsoft have sold to people..

Do not buy this laptop with AMD & Nvidea its a failure model. I am having this laptop for one and half years till this time there is no problem but recently i faced problem in graphics card IC and the system board got mal functiion there is no replacement for this so do not buy.

This Lap top is good for Media as well as gaming. Even other applications are good too. Till Now i did not find any trouble Except Software Part. But one thing i donot understand is it’s ’64 bit Turion” Mobile technology And How it is Making Difference from Other LAP tops In the Market.

And we can install upto max 64 bit OS. that is also an advantage. but Except its recomended “Vista Home basic”. Nothing Has been told which other OS will be suitable.
