I just saw the ad of Indian Army on Indiatimes.com. This is cool! Army is advertising on the Net to recruit soldiers! I am impressed. Although the banner content is preliminary and the landing site is far from being called professional – its a good start. It’s good to see an institution like army utilising the latest technology for advertising. Armies always use latest technologies but this is something different – at least in India. In fact Internet was invented by an army group called ARPA. See history of Internet. Good start by the Indian army.
